Characteristics and classification of EVA bags and EVA boxes

EVA is a plastic material composed of ethylene (E) and vinyl acetate (VA). The ratio of these two chemicals can be adjusted to meet different application needs. The higher the content of vinyl acetate (VA content), the higher its transparency, softness and toughness will be.

The characteristics of EVA and PEVA are:

1. Biodegradable: It will not harm the environment when discarded or burned.

2. Similar to PVC price: EVA is more expensive than toxic PVC, but cheaper than PVC without phthalates.

3. Lightweight: The density of EVA ranges from 0.91 to 0.93, while that of PVC is 1.32.

4. Odorless: EVA does not contain ammonia or other organic odors.

5. Heavy metal-free: It complies with relevant international toy regulations (EN-71 Part 3 and ASTM-F963).

6. Phthalates-free: It is suitable for children’s toys and will not cause the risk of plasticizer release.

7. High transparency, softness and toughness: the application range is very wide.

8. Super low temperature resistance (-70C): suitable for icing environment.

9. Water resistance, salt and other substances: can remain stable in a large number of applications.

10. High heat adhesion: can be firmly attached to nylon, polyester, canvas and other fabrics.

11. Low lamination temperature: can speed up production.

12. Can be screen printed and offset printed: can be used for more fancy products (but must use EVA ink).

EVA lining, as the name suggests, is a certain product placed in this EVA box, and then a package is needed outside, and the EVA lining is placed in this package. This package can be a metal iron box, or a white cardboard box or carton.

Material classification of EVA packaging lining

EVA packaging lining is mainly divided into the following points:

1. Low density, low density environmentally friendly EVA, black, white and color.

2. High-density, high-density environmentally friendly EVA, black, white and color.

3. EVA closed cell 28 degrees, 33 degrees, 38 degrees, 42 degrees.

4. EVA open cell 25 degrees, 38 degrees
